Hi Ashley! The answer to your question is yes. Before beginning the steps below make sure that the Reusable Variables list, though empty, has been created in the new SharePoint environment.

    1. Select the Reusable Variables list.
    2. Select List from the List Tools tab.
    3. Select Datasheet View to display the Reusable Variables in a spreadsheet view.
    4. Locate the Reusable Variables that you want to copy.
    5. Select the Variable Name, Variable Value, Is Multiple Lines, Is Locked, Variable Value Picklist, Published Hyperlink, and SmartDocs ID columns for each Reusable Variable you want to copy by holding the Control key while selecting each field. Do not select and copy the Modified and Modified By columns.
    6. Use Ctrl-C to copy the selected columns.
    7. Select the Reusable Variables list in the new repository.
    8. Select List from the List Tools tab.
    9. Select Datasheet View to display the Reusable Variables in a spreadsheet view.
    10. Use Ctrl-V to paste the Reusable Variables that you copied from the current SharePoint repository.

If you want to copy your Conditional Tags and Usage Tracking lists to the new repository just repeat these steps for those lists.

Once you have completed these steps you will have successfully copied all of your SmartDocs lists with the same SmartDocs ID numbers to the new SharePoint environment.

Make sure to refresh your repository connections the next time you open SmartDocs, so that all of your SmartDocs content will be visible and accessible.
